Once every two years, one of the largest groups of artists in Douglas County come together to display the work they have been creating. This exhibit is known to have on display everything from stained glass shining through the windows to clay sculptures and wood-turned vessels, along with breathtaking paintings and plenty of surprises between. The exhibit will be on display from May 9 to June 23, with an opening reception on May 26, from 6:00-8:00 pm, hosted by the Rotary Club of Douglas County.

Douglasville Police Department and Douglasville Parks and Recreation are teaming together to host a Youth Basketball Summer league at the Alice J. Hawthorne gymnasium every Tuesday starting June 7 – July 19.
Games will begin at 5 PM. Teams will be coed for ages 12-14 and 15-17. This league is free of charge.

Summer Pop Up Parties are inspired by the community and encourage one another to shop local. You, your friends and family can come out to taste local cuisine and shop goods from local artists. Support your “home for the arts – the CAC” by buying a $20 artwork from the annual Summer “Tiny Fundraiser,” shop the Pop Up Arts Shop which features a new artist each month, and learn about classes and more arts opportunities.
